This online course teaches fundamental medical coding skills for professional services (physicians, mid-level providers, etc) and prepares the student to take the CPC exam.
 

Certified medical coders must have a good understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, the disease process, and clinical procedures to apply the correct codes that make up health records, claims, and the business side of medicine.
